1. Your device comes with a silencer (a small silver piece where the mist exits). First, remove the silencer and replace it with the HVAC connector, which looks like a lug nut with a black ring.
   
2. Push down on the black ring to insert one end of the tube into the connector.
   
3. Insert the other end of the tube into the supply duct.
   
4. Seal any openings in the supply duct with HVAC tape.
   
5. Trim any excess tubing—keep the total length under 4 feet, with only about 2 inches inside the duct.
