Prior to setting my car diffuser in the car, i wanted to experience how it worked. so i set it on my kitchen peninsula used for dining, reading, or laptop work. I was very pleased with the versatile settings for frequency. it is silent and thus the fragrance was a special surprise. Visitors would ask "What is that luscious fragrance!". it's in the car now and i'm back online to purchase a larger unit for my home. Hubby even likes the car fragrance :) win-win !
