I received my large bottle of Crimson Wood oil yesterday. Happily, we have just started getting chilly days here in Arkansas. The scent is lovely, to my nose. It reminds me of a perfume but I can’t place which one. It is a little sweeter than I expected and I don’t get a huge “Christmas” vibe. While I would have loved the smell of evergreens, this scent will be great the entire winter and into early spring. Definitely pick up on warm spices and a little earthiness from the oud. I know this isn’t terribly specific regarding the scent description but I haven’t been able to find the words. I will say, I would absolutely recommend for a generally elegant winter fragrance.
