Our New Sultry Scent Has Launched!

Inspired by Clive Christian  We are honored to introduce to you our newest scent, Sister Christian! Inspired by the sultry and intoxicating Clive Christian “Jump up and Kiss Me Ecstatic” perfume, we wanted to embody the euphoric sensational fragrance that was launched in 2017. Clive Christian is one of the finest perfumery houses in all the UK, known for its everlasting and exquisite perfumes. We wanted to take the sweet floral and warm amber notes of the perfume and transform it into an oil that will leave you dangerously in love and laud the similarities between the both. Background and Inspiration   Clive Christian Perfume House first established in 1999, when Clive Christian took over the Crown Perfumery Company. It soon built up its reputation over the years for creating fragrances with ingredients that last longer than most traditionally marketed perfumes. He was granted Queen Victoria permission to use the Queen's crown on top of the bottle, which is now the signature design of the Clive Christian perfume bottle. Clive Christian learn more about Crown Perfumer Company and was surprised to see it was still in business, he took over the neglected perfume house to revive the brand, and shortly after opened the doors to the world’s most expensive perfume brand that took his name. Clive is also known for the perfume technology that captures the molecules of fragrances through an alchemical process that has never been imitated before, making it them stand out the most.  We love the idea of making a resemblance of a scent from Clive Christian into a fragrance that can be diffused in your home. Our Sister Christian scent can best be described as a floral and feminine scent that opens to blooms of jasmine and lemon flower and just a hint of Valencia zest. The addition of black cloves takes you to the heart of the scent, along with amber and cinnamon, before giving way to base notes of rosewood, santal, and cashmere musk, all leading way to a finish of warm woods.    Available for purchase  Beginning today, Sister Christian is now available for purchase on our website that can be diffused with one of our scent diffusers and filling your space with the inspired ecstatic fragrance throughout your home or business. Providing you with luxury scenting that will elevate any ambiance, Happy Scenting!

Highlighting the Powerful Scent of Citrus

Citrus, the note like no other   The citrus notes wear many different hats in the scenting industry as a fragrance, it has been used in a lot of essential oils, cleaning products, and perfumes. The depth and complexity of the fragrance have many variations that contribute to its powerful crisp and clean scent, with a wide range of different olfactory notes. The fragrance is characterized by its zesty and fresh notes that are primarily best for the spring and summer seasons. The obvious fruits known in most scents are sweet orange as well as bergamot, lemons, and grapefruit. You can instantly smell the vibrant and enchanting blend of the citrus scent as a top note when you diffuse.    The Citrus olfactory family   Citrus is representative of a uniquely large family of highly volatile scents. The very first appearance of the citrus fragrance was as early as 1370, with a perfume called “Queen of Hungary Waters.” It was first created for Queen Elizabeth I of Hungary and is believed to have contained notes of rosemary, sage, cedar, and bergamot. What is interesting about this fragrance was that it was the first alcohol-based perfume in all of Europe and is considered the first modern perfume ever produced. Bergamot is known to be a perfumer’s favorite note and is commonly used in the citrus family, being a hybrid of lemon and bitter orange. Most citrus notes are paired with spicy, woody, and floral notes. Some other main distinctive fruits used are clementine, yuzu, citron, and verbena, that are all dynamic notes.    Fun Fact: The oldest perfume is still in production, which dates back to 1533 and is called “Acqua di Colonia,” with its main note being citrus.    What is so great about Citrus?  Besides being the vibrant top note, the citrus note illuminates any scent and brings out its freshness. Scenting with citrus has a highly beneficial effect on our minds and other health benefits such as supporting your immune system. It is proven to reduce stress, while uplifting and boosting your energy levels. The invigorating scent is versatile and effective, being the most popular scent in the use of aromatherapy. The Perfect Harmony between Scenting and Music

The congruence connection we didn’t know about The compatibility between scenting and music is a connection that not a lot of people may realize the impact that they both have on our emotions especially when used by businesses to encourage the buying behavior of consumers. Music is typically used to boost your mood while scenting is also used to improve your mood through the olfactory nerve, when you put both together it creates a multi-sensory experience that will be embedded in your mind as connection between a song and a scent. The combination of matching scents with music is a natural cross-modal that hasn’t been explored as much but does play a significant role in changing the mood of people instantly, have you ever realized how much happier you are when you listen to your favorite song while diffusing one of your favorite candles, both senses are twice as heightened when experienced together to resonate with you, leaving an effect to reminisce when you hear the song or smell the fragrance again. The multi-sensory experience at Aroma360 Of course, Aroma360 knows all things about scenting! In the very beginning when the company first started brainstorming the names for our scenting oils we instantly know we wanted to paired each scent to a name of a song. As we were exploring the scent notes we felt some songs would be a cross-modal correspondence together, creating the perfect multi-sensory experience that will remind you of scent whenever you heard the song. We also wanted to find a way to stand out and using popular song titles is what stuck with us. Our very first song /scent combination was Dream On by Aerosmith, just like the song, our scenting oil is meant to have you in a serene, heavenly mood when you use our diffuser. Perfect song choice, right? Another one of our favorite song/scent combos is My Way by Frank Sinatra. My Way is an exquisite blend of sandalwood and smooth Tuscan leather that creates the most sophisticated and timeless fragrance ever, as well as an aromatic ambience. When you play the song you will feel such a nostalgic feel,  and just like the song it is a true classic. (Fun fact: is Frank Sinatra is our CEO's favorite artist of all time.) Our Spotify playlist With this in mind, we thought it could be fun to put together a “Spotify Top 10 Inspired Scent Playlist” highlighting our best performing scents from our extensive library. While naming scents, we put a great deal of time and effort to make sure the scents fit the song and vice versa. We wanted to match the scent notes to the musical notes as well, we believe that scenting and music both have a strong bond together and what to give our customers the best scenting experience possible. Plus, it is easy for our customers to remember their favorite scent by the name of the songs. We do plan on creating more Spotify playlists by each of our scent collection so you can play and scent whenever you are in the mood. The Popular Scent of Vanilla

The legendary oil of fragrances  The vanilla fragrance has been known in the scenting world for many years. The scent has been used to enhance the mood and ambiance of any space, hence one of its therapeutic properties is the aphrodisiacal effect. This recognizable fragrance has endless health benefits and is used for a variety of things such as regulating menstruation, reducing signs of depression and anxiety, and lowering blood pressure. Another major health benefit is that it contains antioxidant properties that aid in wound healing and help fight infections. A study on aromatherapy has shown that vanilla is ranked remarkably high in its stress-reducing capabilities and promoting relaxation.   What exactly is vanilla, and where does it originates from? Vanilla is a spice that is extracted from the orchids of vanilla. The tropical orchid is a long pod-like fruit which makes it an edible plant. It is enjoyed universally from baking to fragrances, carrying a very potent taste and scent. Vanilla was originally native to Central and South America, as well as, The Caribbean. The first people to have cultivated it was the Totonacs of Mexico. The Aztecs conquered the Totonacs in the 15th Century, which allowed them access to vanilla for the first time. They were the civilization that put it on the map by utilizing vanilla in their food and mixing it with cacao, pairing the two flavors together. Eventually, it made its way to Europe when the Spanish fought the Aztecs and brought it back home with them. Today, about 80% of the world’s vanilla comes from farms in Madagascar. Their locals continue to pollinate the orchids by hand and cure and dry the beans traditionally.   Goes Best With... The Majestic Scent of Cedarwood

The Grounding Scent   Have you ever taken a deep breath while walking in a national park and inhaled the warm, woody scent of nature around you? Most parks or forests are surrounded by the beautiful greatness of Cedar Trees, a majestic evergreen tree made of cones with pine-like needles. The Cedarwood oils is extracted from the tree which distill a pleasant aroma and balsamic undertones, filled with various properties such as anti-inflammatory and antiseptic for health benefits in the oil.  As a fragrance oil, it is often used as a base note in scenting. The Cedarwood acts like an “anchor” in combining floral and citrus notes. Its heavier molecular weight allows it to bring depth to scents and boost the strength of top and middle notes. It blends well with Ylang-ylang, Grapefruit, Sandalwood, and Frankincense.    Unlocking memories   Cedarwood oil is known for its aromatic wood fragrance that is reminiscent of the outdoors. Do you remember back in grade school, when the classroom would smell like pencil shavings? Little did you know that was the smell of cedarwood, which is the wood that is mainly used for pencils. One can also say that the scent is similar to an heirloom hope chest or a good aftershave. Cedarwood carries a fragrance that makes it easily recognizable, embodying a more comforting and old-fashioned scent when it is released. Very nostalgic, right?   Where does the Cedar tree originates from?   Cedar Tree is a native of North America, the Eastern Coast of The Mediterranean, and the Himalayas with four varied species. These magnificent trees can grow up to 30 meters in height and live up to 1,000 years. The leaves are needle-like and vary from an evergreen color to bright green grass color with a white wax layer for protection, their barks and cones are also covered in resin for protection as well. The tree has many purposes such as fencing, musical instruments and most importantly fragrance oil.  What are Cedarwood's Benefits?   Since Cedarwood is a grounding note, it provides excellent emotional balance and calm, for both the body and the mind making it a popular oil for aromatic use. Scientific studies have shown that when diffused, Cedarwood is great for promoting self-confidence and self-esteem. The warm, herbaceous odor of this wood helps to evoke feelings of wellness and is used successfully to treat anxiety. If you are into meditation, Cedarwood is the perfect scent for you!  Here are a few oils that contain Cedarwood:   Graceland  Black Velvet   London Calling Explore our scent library for more scenting oils that carries Cedarwood notes!
